I've done about 5000km since fitment and have been off road with them once. So far I can't complain at all, the tread wear looks really good and the road noise is much less than the Bridgestone's that were on the bakkie. For the price it was a steal.

Where did you get these for that price?

The online guys have good prices, but I made the mistake a few years ago by buying online and for some reason only realising a year later that they sold me 3 year old tyers!

Hit something in the N1 South just before Allandale this morning, suspect it came off the burning taxi. Had to replace the LH front tyre .

    Fitted GoodYear Adventure
    Tiger Wheel and Tyre PE

I must say that TWT are servicing me well, at least in PE.

265/60/17 (they just look good )
Plus he didnít have 235/65 at 4pm...
    So I squeezed R7000 for 4

    Immediately noticed harder ride.

So my side wall / flex issues are no more.

The Pirelli AT + : they donít like 75% gravel.
    And hectic gravel here.
    Spoelklip, stone, corrugated.
Also I pretend Iím Geniel... 120km/h where ever possible.

    And punctures... yoh- too many..
45 000km and they were klaar...
    So that experiment is finished

Damn, I need some tyres and unfortunately I have to look at the second hand market for now. Seen some very cheap prices for a set, but man, they nearly as bad as my current set.

Interesting comparison, based purely on the look of the two, I would have said that the AT + (the new version from Pirelli right?) would have fared better. I am planning to fit them on my Pajero Sport later this year. Currently have Yokohama G12 on, 94k km and they still don't want to give up. But the flat spots are driving me insane.

So would you say someone who travels maybe 20% dirt should be fine? I like the look and the price is also good. Read some good reviews from Australian threads on the AT +.

What do you mean with the sidewall flex issue?

Watse size tires is dit en dit is nogal duur as jy moet aftrek wat jy vir jou tires gekry het.

    Hi Leon

    265/60/18
from the quotes I received they were very similar and what was nice is that I got to trade in my tyres. So I only got to pay for 4 tyres.
