This is my first set of General Grabbers, fitted on Saturday. Experience so far is that it feels like I am driving on jelly, feels as if the rim moves around a lot inside the Tyre, anyone else experienced this?

Fitted 5x Goodyear Wrangler AT Adventure (kevlar) 265/70/17 on my 2012 FJ. Total cost incl. alignment, balancing and fitment was R12.280,- at Supaquick Menlyn (R2456 each).

Was eying the Dunlop AT3G's: I had a deal for the Dunlops at R2750 balanced and fitted at Dunlop Menlyn and he was willing to pay R300 for my old tyres with 5-6mm thread left. So pricewise there wasn't any difference with the Goodyears, but overall limited availability made me decide against them.

The Goodyears feel much stiffer, less rolling resistance and somehow even more quite than the OEM Dunlop AT22's I had fitted earlier. Overall very happy.

I am so confused as to what to put on my Pajero Sport next week Saturday. My current set of Yokohama G12S probably still has some km in them, but the flat spots are becoming a real issue now. After 97000+ km, I probably cannot complain too much. Should have looked after them a better, could probably have stretched them to 120 000km.

I am in between Pirelli AT Plus / General Grabber AT3 / Goodyear Adventure. 265/65/17. Price difference is negligible. Have read good and bad reviews on all three. Should I just close my eyes and and randomly pick one!?

I'm real happy with my Goodyears. Grip is good on all the conditions I've driven it including the heave rain/wet roads in KZN these last few weeks. Low road noise and looks quite good in my opinion.

Considering that I've read many sidewall related issues with the Grabbers, I'd go for the Goodyears: I am also very happy with them. I'm not sure whether you'll be able to get another 97.000+ km's out of them: that is BF Goodrich territory!

I have also heard that the Grabbers have softer sidewalls. In the end I don't think for my uses any of the three will perform worse than the other. Will make the call on Saturday, and I think the Pirelli will win purely based in looks!

Fitted 4 x Goodyear Wrangler Adventure ATís (Kevlar) today at Mintyís in Cresta, Johannesburg. 205/70/R15 for R5500.00 including wheel alignment. So far so good. Went for these because of the many good comments on the forum.

Thanks 4xFord! I had a set of AT Continentals which were great on the few 4x4 tracks Iíve done but in the wet they were much like driving on slicks on a wet track! Looking forward to enjoying Jimny Cricketís new dancing shoes!
