I needed new tyres on the 2016 New Fortuner, and took long to decide between BF and Cooper, ended up buying Cooper Discoverer S/T MAXX 265x70x17; got a price from a very well know tyre dealer, R4,800; fell on my back and started to shop around. Found a small shop in Valhalla, Centurion. This guys does it cowboy style, shop next to pizza place, no lifts. I went to visit him, agreed a price, he ordered and once delivered I went to felt. Out came two guys with trolley jack, lifted my car in the parking lot and removed the back wheels, swopped the tyres and fitted them back, then the from. Costing me R3,500 fitted each. Just out of curiosity, are these tires still "new"? I.e. have you checked the date stamp on each tire's sidewall? I have noticed that some places sell certain tires at a bargain, just to find out why: the tires were manufactured way back when. Just a point to note for future reference

STT has been replaced by the STT Pro. If they not too old they could be a good deal. Bearing in mi d that you can get brand new Grabber X3 for around R2400ea/2500

I just recently fitted Nexen AT Pro 245/70/15" all costed R6600 incl fitting and alignment.

Never had experience with these tires before, anyone else used them before?

R1995 for Powertrac Power Rover M/T from Eikestad Fitment Centre in Stellenbosch
The R1995 included VAT, balancing, and fitment.
Had wheel alignment for R250.
R8230 for everything.
