Default Driving the northern side of the okavango panhandle

Is it possible to drive along the northern side of the panhandle from Chobe NP to Mbiroba and then to Mohembo Border crossing during December

There are tracks / routes but they are going through concessions.
Then December being the rainy season, a lot of the area will (or can be) flooded.

There is no rescue in place for the area, most likely you couldn't even expect someone to come and assist f you would run into troubles. It is just to far off the normal routes and if tracks are used then by the army trucks or concession operators.

BTW, I tried to do a crossing from Khwai to Linyanti through that area in June 2015 - and failed as we hit large areas of water where we never even expected it.
