Our TV is in a difficult spot to get behind without moving the whole heavy stand. We never got the little bit of cable with 3 jacks so am putting the black jack from the emitter straight into the TV H/P hole.

    Thanks

ps sound seems fine without any adjustments.
If the unit came with a H/P plug then it is designed for the correct signal levels.

One of the main differences between the H/P jack vs a RCA connection is that the RCA will be at a fixed level (volume) whereas the H/P will in all probability have the sound level tied to the volume control on the TV.

If you find that the sound gets distorted sometimes, just turn the volume down a bit on the TV and up on the headphones.

Exactly what happens to me. Only difference was the cause was a larger caliber, 76mm

In a crowded pub or restaurant I sit their watching other people chatting and laughing. I have learned when to laugh by watching.

That was before I got my new hearing aids.

Your modern hearing aids use phase interpherometer techniques to do beam forming, and have fancy Digital Signal Proccessing noise reduction systems. So the will enhance the sound in the direction you are looking and cancel surrounding noises in a noisy environment. If you are sitting at a table you can even steer the beam left or right using controls, so that you don't have to be looking directly at whoever you are talking to.

Both me and my dad have the same problem. I went for hearing tests a year ago and there isn't really anything wrong with my hearing. The problem has something to do with my brain's ability to isolate a single sound from the other noise. Switch on a microwave or dish washer and I can hear squat. The really embarrassing part is work functions in crowded places where I can't hear the person next to me.

I don't know what the reason is, but I can't connect my wireless headphones to the TV, and the karaoke microphone doesn't connect to it either. And I don't know how to solve this problem.

Most of the new TVs need you to change the audio output options from internal to external ......................

My setup consists of 3 components:
    • BlueTooth transmitter that plugs into sound output socket on TV
    • Cell phone charger that continuously charges the transmitter.
    • BT full size head phones which charge with cell phone charger.

Both transmitter and head set are Volkano.
    Budget quality but adequate.

I can't connect wireless headphones to my TV either, thanks for the tips. Probably the problem is in my TV or settings, but I don't know how to solve it. I guess I should get a specialist or buy a new TV. Maybe it's because I use a copy of AirPods. By the way, I found them among the best fake AirPods and I liked their design and price. And when I got them, I realized that the quality is not much different from the brand. Actually, I prefer not to spend a lot of money on devices, because there are more important things I can spend money on. But it would be better if I could connect them to TV.
