    Not denying that there are lions at Mabua and well aware of the fact that its luck of the draw. It's just, this was our first "off the beaten track" camping trip - I don't consider Sesriem and Ais-Ais as off the beaten track.

    In terms of Boso, agreed that the privacy was wonderful and saw some of the most amazing sunrises and sunsets ever.

    Been camping all my life though and there really are a lot of other places still on the bucket list, but time is a scarce commodity with two kids in primary school and both me and the wife having full time jobs. Curiosity will likely cause me to visit other places instead.

    Sounds like fair reasoning to me , enjoy wherever you go next, sometimes I wish I was still living over there
