    Default SAMSUNG printers

    Howsit

So I'm running windows 10, suddenly I have an IO error on my printer.

    Samsung M2070.

The more I use this brand the more I hate it! I saw HP bought it.

I want to smash this printer on Monday with a bat!!!!!

What printers are you using?! I need just not Ed scanning and printing.

*And yes I have reinstalled software including the latest patch *

    Thanks

I use a M2070 with W10. Just wipe and reload the software.

Mine's running since 2014. Had to reload a few times

An old Samsung SCX-4521f a mono lazer printer for around 12 years , I used it with windows 7 ,8 and now 10 , sometimes the feeder feeds more that 1 page but a clean with meths solves it , I do not do a lot of printing so fine with me , but it is quite bulky , but honestly 12 years! I have used around 4 refills in that period , its also a scanner , fax, copier (never used the fax part)
A few years ago I got A samsung lazer colour printer what a piece of crap I could not even give it away , ridiculously expensive refills and they did not last long and after minimal use the imager also went.
I have used virtually all the brands when I worked for a corporate company , their is not great brand but rather good models from any make

I am currently using only HP laser printers for two reasons 1.) I have tried quite a few brands (including the exact same Samsung) and the HPs on average seem to last much longer? Also had one or two driver issues with a few other brands. 2.) I only run generic cartridges from Trink in PE, and I have had zero issues. HP generic/remanufactured cartridges are easier to source I have found than other brands.

Small entry-level HPs (like the old 1102 and new 107) in the offices and then I run the HP 400 series (401a, 402a) in places where much larger amounts are being printed. The 401 is no longer in production, but I have been running 6 of them for at least 4-5 years with no issues at all. They do 2000-5000 pages per month and running the 80X (extra capacity) cartridges I get up to 8000-9000 pages per cartridge. Can't remember the exact price of the cartridge from Trink, think it's R500-R600 each?

Also have a 2070 that sporadically goes offline and I cannot print. Reload software, plug in USB cable and nothing so print off USB cable. Next morning without any intevention she is back to normal. Has never done it on my colleagues laptop and we connect to the same network and printer.

My other bitch is that scans are skew and so are prints, no matter how hard you line the paper up.

Mickey, are you using it directly to your PC, or is it a network connected printer.

If not network, then connect it to your network, get it's IP address, and add a printer via the normal way. HP universal print driver may work.

You can also go into the printer via your browser and set done things up like scan to pc or scan to email.

Failing all else, you have my number.....

We have 2 + 1 Samsung Xpess 2675 series. One on Wifi and the other 2 on wire. Same refills. Cheap aftermarket types work. Only hassle is that IP addresses get messed up on power cuts. All fixed IP for TV boxes and 2 wifi printers so it is not the printer issue. Have been good buys.
