That video is fake. How can a parachute deploy like that where there is virtually no atmosphere.
I think the flatearthers are right.

So atmospheric pressure on Mars is 6 to 7 mbar. It is 840mbar here in Johannesburg. It is almost zero. If I lower the pressure in a vacuum chamber to 6mbar there is no wind resistance and no wind resistance will not inflate or deploy a parachute.

Measuring 70.5 feet (21.5 m) in diameter, the parachute will deploy at an altitude of about 7 miles (11 km) and a velocity of about 940 mph (1,512 kph).

I'm sure a wind at a 1500 km/h and 8 mb would blow your hair back.

Ok ... prove it ... using the EXACT same atmospheric conditions as is on Mars ... at the same speeds that the parachute opened.

Cause IF you could prove beyond reasonable doubt that the parachute on mars was fake ... then it would be the coop of the century, that all those 1000's of people working in around and at NASA, that all where in on the lie.

... just hold my beer, want to get some popcorn on whilst you prepare the experiment ...

I am going to roll back to the previous rover, the strange gaps in the wheel surface spelled out "JPL",in morse code, for each rotation.....
The concentric circles of this parachute also has hidden "easter eggs", spelled out in asci......
Yes, I had to google it
There are many more hidden on the new rover itself, who says engineers have no sense of humour.....
