Just an interesting fact, knowing that you also attended the same school as me. The current artist, Ghost, and I was in the same class at Bergvlam Hoërskool in Nelspruit. His nick name back then was "Gesie", due to him being so skinny.

Bletchley Park. The top secret home of the first electronic computer named Colossus during World War 2. It was instrumental in breaking the German codes and remained unknown until the mid 1970's when it was declassified.

A female falcon was equipped with a satellite tracking system in South Africa before migrating to Finland. Image shows tracker data. In just 42 days, she flew over 10.000 km, at an incredible average of 230 km per day and nearly in a straight line.

I visited there once, and was astounded at what was achieved with what they had available. Colossus was built from bits-n-pieces from telephone exchange mechanisms to switch the relays between the valves(tubes), and all was mounted on open racks.
Alan Turing was the maths boffin who conceptualized the concept of a stored program, which what we use today in computers, smart phones, etc.

Planning to go and visit again on a day when the beast is in operation this time. Leaving for the UK on 2nd November.
