Mop the rib with marinade and drizzle lemon juice on the nkuku. I've done these standup ribs in the rond black dingus before but never a whole bird. Hope I don't fek it up.

    Making me hungry Riaan.

I learnt something on Friday. Quite difficult to braai at Sani Top, particularly with only bike carried charcoal; cold and less oxygen.

Awesome Zeek. The sea and wind goes together like plaas botter and Bovril, they love each other.

It is not easy to try and prepare a meal on a fire when your camp chairs get blown over but with dilligence, forethought, plenty rum and sheer perseverance it can be done.

One has to, the less nice part of being responsible for supper is that you have to produce, no matter what.

Woe is me, or for this thread perhaps "are me"

Just been advised, this at half past eight on a fine Sunday evening, after a well thought through and presented supper done on the no picture no sound dingus, that my offspring want to make Smores with the cookies and marshmallows bought yesterday. The black dingus is dead, grasping it's last breaths of non existant warmth and now this.

Being rather pedantic about planning one's shite and under normal circumstances would not entertain last minute requests like these, I am letting this one pass though as I obviously need to start a fire
