Estee, I have been doing the R100 challenge since forever as I also have plenty in the house to feed. The Hartenbos people are welcome to pull their noses up at food considered beneath them, I don't have the luxury to be fussy though. Fortunately.
One should be happy to have a meal on the table.

There are lots of ways to do R100 braai. I usually braai about R100 - R200 of goods but i ensure there are leftovers for the next day, my wife uses that to do her magic leftover dishes.
The dogs dont seem to mind all the extras too.

    Cheers

I found this website (4x4 community) while looking for information on vehicle repairs via google, I carried on with my business as one does.

It kept coming up and I surfed a bit more, what a hive of information here.

From fixing stuff to these fantastic braais happening all the time.

There is alot of negativity in SA at the moment however just look at this thread...

Life is good, people are living and enjoying.

Some fantastic food being prepared in their unique ways and a backdrop of peoples wonderful gardens they have created.

    Well done.

    Lekker naweek!

Nice one Craig. If you look for a thread called A Toast in the pub section you might enjoy that too.

Belated posts but I was sort of busy, intense discussions were discussed in intricate detail.

Aaaanyway, to Marai's lovely veg dish and taters in foil already on the fire, I added a chicken in foil story.

Chicken fillets sliced thinner, in a bowl chopped green onion, ginger, garlic and chopped green chillies. Soya sauce added and left for about 20 minutes.

Wrapped, delicately, with considered forethought and on the fire. No forethought needed for The Captain to join, the bugger just does what he wants.
