Does anyone else feel like RvW's posts are almost humiliating to watch? Takes something stupidly basic (like paving bricks) and slaps together something that makes pork belly look restaurant-grade. And it's not like pork belly is an easy cut to get right.

Certainly not humiliating [Humiliate: to cause (a person) to feel disgraced]. Just shows creativity, skill and willingness to pass on knowledge.

I stand by my word - humiliating. It's a disgrace to me, I have to plan and spice and cut and do everything perfect. This dude hooks a piece of pig tummy and hangs in between a bunch of bricks and viola, masterpiece of a meal. If I try and do that, I swear I'll create COVID-20.

I tell you what, he'll give that Jan Braai guy a run for his money. Riaan can then as for Patreon donations. I'd say he deserves it.

And I'm with Toxxyc : I've been braai-ing and cooking stuff for 40 years ever since my dad handed me the tongs, and Riaan makes me feel like I started yesterday. He doesn't just think outside the box, he doesn't even realise there IS a box.
