My very VERY modest contribution to National Braai Day.
Taken before the wors went on though.

YES YES I know it is only tomorrow but our weather is showing strong wind tomorrow so I decided it would be done today As a retired GOF any day can be braai day not so?

Tonights It Are Time is slightly nostalgic. I was stationed in Counter Intel at AFHQ and then Reaction Force AFHQ. (Any members here who did RF at AFHQ will remember it as being perpetual light, 24/7).

Anyhoo, we would often want to braai as an alternative to the kospakkies or schlepping up to Skinner Street so we would club together and buy a disposable braai and some pensioner braai packs. You know those, 1 stuk wors, a tjoppie and a piece of tenderised steak. A couple of 6 packs of Ohlssons (remember those) and we would head to the roof of AFHQ and have a braai while watching the city lights and life pass us by.

Thats whats on the grill tonight boys.

100% caranx36. You can braai what you like when you like. No rules around here. 1 GOF to another
