My 9yo daughter's first hunt done yesterday, went textbook perfect.

Took a Blesbuck Ram at 122 metres, perfect heart shot.

43.5kg slaughtered weight with 16" inch Rowland Ward qualifying horns.

Tonight she braaied her one fillet for herself, perfect Medium-Rare just the way I taught her.

Mr van Wyk. I am starting to feel left out by not having a pizza oven magafter and my outside cooking repertoire is being severely restricted

I read something yesterday about it being something to do with rum tonight.
So here it are. Pork belly, salted and spiced, on some fresh rosemary. Will cook for about 2.5 hours and an hour or so before will add some mixed veg and potatoes. Didn't know what to do with the rum so ill drink one while a think... perhaps a rum and coke reduction or something like that.
    Cheers Okes!

A cup of tomato sauce, a cup of sticky brown sugar and a cup of rum with 2 teaspoons of garlic and a couply dashes of Woestershire sauce heated and stirred and reduced and then left to cool as a BBQ sauce.
