Riaan, when is your cookbook coming out? You certainly have enough pikchas on this thread to fill an entire volume.

Fortunately in today's age self-publishing is a reality. KDP is super easy and doesn't cost you a cent.

Albert, I have to publish a "Zululand Travels" book first which I have been prompted to do for ages by everyone and even that is a mission.

This thread is a community thread and I am but one of the many participants, it would be unfair of me to publish the pics as a book I think.

But certainly, if Dirk thinks he has time for something like this I won't mind to be one of the contributors.

Then, stoke the Weber up. Using Ignite charcoal briquettes for the first time.

Boys, very impressed with this charcoal. easy to ignite and long burning with a consistent heat

    Then the meat.

Sirloin, marinaded in the usual braai spice and red wine and wors. Butternut halved and spiced with veg spice, honey and feta with chopped onion. Mielies to round it off. Who doesnt like braaied mielies?
