I think I have a plan. Grate a hunyin, carrot and a perrito. Add all spice, garlic, some dhanya and two cuttings of Holsum in a pan on bottled flames.

Add mince when the grated stuff gets colour. As The Blonde is at evening lecture and I couldn't muster the energy for shops after work, frozen and defrosted maalvleis from the yskas it is. Which I don't smaak using as getting the texture right is more work. But veee hav ze vays and meenz to fix that.

Nothing special really. Just had a pack of ostrich pieces. Sliced them really thin. Bit of oil into very hot pan and get some colour on them. Add spice mix when the pan is just about dry. (garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, smoked chilli flakes, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, oregano and a bit of chilli powder). Allow dry spice to sort of toast a bit with the meat for maybe a minute. Then add a bit of water so it doesn't burn and just to get all the meat nicely seasoned. That's about it.
Still got some leftover for tomorrow mornings omlette and toast.
