Fired up eight briquettes. Did that outside and when ready carried Cobb indoors.(windy like hell)
    Dough into five blikbekers.
    Hour later perfect breads.

Coals left, that shouldn't go to waste...quick flapjack mixing and we had flapjack snack.
Coals still not finished, cooked rice in cast iron pot on leftover coals for supper meal.

Following day made two Alu foil pouches with veggies and grilled wors in wok attachement as to utilise the 'sauce' from wors.
    Six briquettes used

Yesterday veggies and chicken cooked in pan. |
    Four briquettes used.

Both times we put kettle on leftover coals.

Tonight it is cabbage & minced meat roulades

This will be our method of cooking during the lockdown. Cheaper and more fun than gas

So after a good Tafel lager quart. The bits decided to do a WhatsApp group video braai.

Was good fun. Did have a detrimental effect on my rum. Much to SWAMBO'S disappointment.

So now I am enjoying a gift from a good auzzie mate.

So what happens when SWAMBO surprises you by putting butter on the Mazambanez

Flames, will have to wait for the coals to chill a bit.

While I wait I think another rum. Just me and the dog now.

Flame grilled like steers. Potatoes are not fans of that. Click image for larger version.
