    Its actially so easy. I just read elsewhere that when you dry the rusks do it at 100íC and leave the oven door a bit open for 3-4 hours. We sampled them this morning and they were great.

    In the bacon fat fry three slices of bread, turn and add cheddar and the bacon and fry some more. The Blonde's one has banana added.

    I restacked my wood pile for "safety" reasons and the mini Bombshell surprised me with an early B-day gift of herbs for my outside kitchen rack.

    Poke the skin full of holes also the underside, make two deep pockets with the naaf. Paint the skin side with soya sauce and rub, trying to get the sauce into the small slits. Meat side douse with braai spice and into the pockets try and get some of the honey and mustard sauce in.

    Reminds me of the time when it was just me and my dad in the house, after mom buggered off. He made big pot of split pea soup on Sundays and froze it in containers to chow in the week. And beans and offal at times.
