    Tonight, whole herbeb and garlic butter chicken on the weber, with potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, garlic cloves and butter nut, I got given one of those new weber stainless steel gratings with a hole in the middle(just like a WC seat) it has made turning the potatoes so easy, what a pleasure.     Any ideas what this veg is, we know it's of the pumpkin family, no one seems to be able to I D it. Think it's a hybrid, it's just popped up on my nephews farm in the Natal Midlands. Will post more pics when I cut it open... That is a desert spoon for sizeClick image for larger version.

    I know I haven't contributed, but this is my goto thread. Why is it so quiet? Everybody on a diet now? Riaan used to be my favorite contributor and he stopped eating now... Please people - make food again so I can be jealous and inspired again.

    Agreed, I haven't contributed much to this thread for various reasons(mainly being away at work for extended times) but really enjoy your(and others) creative contributions Riaan. Thanks for the many ideas and pictures which I shall try replicate when I'm home again.

    Step two- added half a tin of apricot jam diluted in boiling water and a tin of Italian tomato mix. Simmer till the pan starts getting noisy.
