Ek wil nog net eers by Toyota Port Elizabeth hoor, voor ek my langnaweek bespreek

So bietjie terugvoer. My bakkie het nou 265/75/17 op. Speedo nou so 3km/h uut met gps. Brandstof ingegooi was 67L tot vol. As die tenk 80L hou soos boek sÍ beteken daar was 13L oor.

I see that in the latest SA 4x4 magazine they mention that they have purchased the very same vehicle and intend to give it a make over in the next few issues. Will be interesting to see what they do to the Revo.

So let me kick this thread off with pics of my stock standard version. I dont intend to mod it heavily, just add a nudge bar, tonneau cover, roll bar and maybe some after market rock sliders.

I have had 2 Hilux DC's in the past 20 years and both were good.

I recently got a new SRX DC 4x4 and took it on the Toyota 4x4 introduction course to test it out.
When we crossed water about 50 cm deep the water entered via the door seals and the cab got soaking wet inside. Could only get a booking at the dealer 6 days later at which time the carpets were still wet in spite of open doors and windows. The dealer had to strip out the whole interior to remove the carpets to dry. Car is still at dealer and waiting for response from Toyota to fix/replace. Did anybody else have similar problems??

Also the 4x4 Low Range light kept flashing and only engaged fully after driving some distance. Anybody had similar issues?

Glo 'n groot werk. Definitief iets waaraan Toyota sal moet aandag gee.

    On the 4x4

Switch on 4H first can do this on the fly when going off tar. Then stop. Put in first gear, clutch in and then switch to 4L

Ibar i have only put the tonneau cover and roll bar on. Looking at an alluminium canopy, or maybe a set of trallies, havent decided yet.

Next month it gets the fog lights which the 2017 model didnt come standard with. It also gets the black wheel arch protectors. Hopefully it also gets the speedo cruise. My local dealer, Menlyn Toyota, dont know about any aftermarket kits for the hilux so if anyone has a part number i would appreciate it.
