Thinking of getting the auto to replace the long in the tooth Pajero.
I have a 2.4 srx single cab 4x2 as a work bakkie and the power is great compared to the Pajero

Well let me share my expert advise, I've had the auto now for a full 910km.

I know there were complains on the auto, about downshifting and braking etc. but for me it has been great so far. I must say for me it is a great no nonsense auto. Had some traffic during the week and was extremely grateful I had the auto.

And I must agree 2.4 more than sufficient in my opinion

It is a pain in the rear to fit the rear seat covers in a gd6 double cab!!!!!
I don't understand why toyota made the rear seat so that the backrest cannot flip forward!!!!!!!!

We removed the whole seat to fit the covers properly...

Seriously Sam I am thinking of putting a white sticker material or wrap material in the area.

Trevor are there any tricks or do you just undo the 5 bolts at the bottom?

    Thanks Johan

I should have said that when Megaworld fitted the seat covers...apologies for sounding as if I did it myself.

Where are you situated? ...give Rudi Hinze, owner of Megaworld Centurion a call, he will tell you how its done...he is always happy to help...amazing service there!!

Do anyone perhaps know where I can find black vinyl for the section between the windows?

There must be a kit available somewhere?

Last alternative is to have a wrapping company wrap this little section, but small kit (if available) should work perfect

That is my thinking. Guys like VPS as an example.

I ordered from our local Toyota dealer

"Black Out" with your VIN nuumber is all you need - oh yes, and about R80.00 per sticker....original, correct finish and perfectly pre-cut

(PS: I have an Extracab, so only needed 2)

This is a problem area. When I bought my bakkie the paint was already badly scratched there.
