Ok. I dont know about 4x4 upgrades and everything on top of that.

What I do know is that I like the Landcruiser 200.

What is your opinion on the vehicle

1 - Standard as is (VX)
2 - All your positive and negative comments on the upgrades here

Dont hold back. I would like the cold hard experienced facts.

Moenie bang wees nie.....GOOI jou opinie.

Awesome vehicle. I got Ironman suspension, its too soft. Apparently EFS is harder. Im going that route soon.

On the Project 200 website they mention some negatives on the gearbox, its true. It frustrates me everyday.

Other than that do whatever you want to it and drive it how ever and where ever you want.

Oh if you going to go off the beaten track don't do like me, rather get it in white.

I drove one a few times and really enjoy the vehicle....but that gearbox! Thought I was imagining things. Maybe just used to the auto Amarok ZF box.

    I am in SA still.

What would you do different and why? Please tell. Jy praat hier met n ou wat niks weet van meganiese goed nie.

What is it regarding that gearbox and can it be fixed?

Thing is for me... 2 and a half Landcruisers (no upgrades) or a Range Rover standard.

I can not go the Range Rover route....it does not make sense financially comparing the two's capability. You gain only luxury interior from RR and other electronic gadgets while the LC is nice enough I think.

Waar is jy dan kan ons deur alles gaan. Dis n redelike duur excercise daai. Ek sal enige tyd n 200 koop, sy drawback is 10ppm maar is jy wil offroad, baie goed en capable.

    Not quite true Herman.

Plus, Vehicles with EGR cetane rating of 48 or higher. No where in user manual does it mention 10ppm and according to TSA can use 500ppm.

Would it matter if the D4D 4.5 have 2 turbos? Or would it still be fine with 500ppm?

Tare is 2510kg so payload must be 840kg? Not bad for an SUV...how much do you want to pack?

but with the 10 L included in the tare weight you wont make it that far...

Kerb weight of the GX 2640kg and VX 2740 - so how about a full fuel tank, a driver and maybe even the wife and kids... add a bull bar, roof rack, rrt, beer and thats it

The cruiser is heavy in the front and I think Ironman is not as solid. Where they talk about nose diving during braking I still got that. I don't know Tough Dog but I have heard that EFS is more solid and according to the video Tough Dog is the same.
