    Default Pontdrift border crossing

I am planning a trip to Sabie from Nam. I am planning to do Botswana through the center , from Maun to Francistown and then crossing into RSA via Pontdrift.
Can any one give me some advice on this crossing, please. I see that it is in a park in Bots. Are there any conditions, like staying a number of day before crossing can take place ect.

You can drive through the park to the borderpost. There are no fees to enter the park as it is a national road.

The Limpopo at Pontdrift do not have a low water bridge. If there are water in the river they will not let you attempt to cross.
Border times are from 08:00 to 16:00.

If the river are in flood, but not too high you can try to cross at Platjan border (Low water bridge present) otherwise you will have to cross at Martinsdrift / Groblersbrug.

    Thank you
I see all 3 crossings is currently closed due to the high level of the Limpopo.
I will pass there in a week. Will take it as it comes....
It looks as if there is still some rain on its way
