Pierre I did at least see the box that the new one arrived in and so I am happy that the new one into my truck is brand new.
Yes it does look older than 3200 km.

Yes it does look older than 3200 km.
So fuel consumption stays at a disappointing 3 km / liter.
We ussed Tata 407 trucks. I will never never buy it again. In the end I almost gave it away. Bought a second hand 4t Dyna and it is running like a dream. And paid only R 130 000. Then invested in a 5t Hino also 2nd hand. What a truck!!! And only for R 300 000.
Will never ever go fong kong again. We manufacture tombstones and that is heavy on transport. If it last in our industry it is good.
Groot avontuur begin met ń idee, ń braai en ń lemonadetjie.
Never a indian or chineese truck again. They are cheap to buy and expensive to keep on the road. And the down time is taking a toll on your profits.
Groot avontuur begin met ń idee, ń braai en ń lemonadetjie.
I would not touch a Tata either.
Why buy one of the low end trucks new, when you can buy a better brand second hand?
Or is that also a gamble?
Surely if you do due diligence before buying that 2nd hand you should be in the clear?
I wanted to buy a faw or tata. Will rather buy the vw constellation, 7.5 m bed for R550 000 excl.

Engel aftrr the replacement of the Diesel pump the truck is running perfectly. The last tank was 3.85km per litre at an average speed on I track of 19km per hour. So that is heavy heavy traffic work with full load.I am now on nearly 5000 km. It is obviously not long enough yet but you will have R 200k change compared to the constellation. If you are not in a hurry I will be able to give long term feedback on the 2 I am running.
Turbo pyp gebars vandag.
Nie happy na 15000 km nie.
Replaced under guarantee but two days work lost.
I also hope you are keeping a check on lost downtime in your calculations, I sold trucks for 35 years, there was a reason I only worked for Volvo and Scania![]()
Audi A6 Avant Quattro V6 tdi ( Sold )
VW Touareg V6 tdi ( sadly written off )
2 x Toyota Celica GT4 Gen 6 (Sold) sadly missed
2 x Toyota Celica Gen. 5 ( Sold ) not missed as much as the above.
