WJ/WG Diesel 2.7 CRD EGR Shunt (solves P1270)
in pictures (the jeep engine pic I got from the forum). Posting this to save time when somebody else needs it again...
Do you have to do both - only if your swirl actuator has failed (as in when you have the P1270), else you could just do the EGR shunt.
Without warranties, own risk etc etc...76 Jeep CJ6 (283 Chevy V8 3" Lift)

I have now done 140k with the EGR defeat. No problems!
