My father called OutSurance as soon as it happened and they called me back on my Zambian number. Ryan Gopi took the 'case' and immediately said they'll be able to cover for emergency repairs of up to R7500 as stipulated in the policy. For repatriation they cover up to R65 000. They also cover emergency accommodation of R1000 per person for up to 8 nights.

After the whole ordeal we sent the invoices to OutSurance and within 48 hours the money was in my account. So we're quite satisfied with OutSurance for now. We'll have to see what happens with the 3 months clause, that no one informed us of.
