Default Speed limit with suspension max raised on GL

    Hi Everyone,

Is there a way to increase the 20km/h speed limit on the GL with suspension raised max?

That will need someone who knows how to reprogram the car

On the medium setting you should be able to do 80KM/H which is more than enough? Max setting is what, 300mm? with medium being around 280mm? when most 4x4 D/Cabs have a ground clearance around 225mm?

Let me put it this way, my standard W164 ML 500 on raised suspension mode has never rubbed or scrubbed anywhere and would be equal to your medium setting.

Thanks for the info, perhaps I should go RTFM

The max suspension setting is really a get out of deep SH#T setting, so there shouldn't be much need for it. We did Faces of the Namib using Level 1 most of the time and going to Level 2 only when necessary. Level 3 was used to get us out when beached or on one very rocky section, where speed is not an issue.
