    I'll use those rings that slide in to fasten the Oztent and Gazebo with, or use a full roofrack maybe, just slide in and lock in place. Dont want skroefies en goedjies.

    I'll just make a plan to get black chequered plate on the lower area, so that the gazebo/tent do'nt chafe the paintwork. But will have to glue it in place, dont want pop rivets etc etc.

    Anyone knows what glue to use please??

    Not bad - look at what "ordinary" fibre glass jobbies cost nowadays.

    Nice solid canopy, very strong roof. NO issues whatsoever.

    I'm adding some pics:

    Renier ek antwoord sommer hier, dalk help dit ander ook.

    More Petri

    Did you manage to get them fitted ? I need to order my Allu kappie next week , now with those alu strips you have to fit on after the fact , I'm wondering if its not better to just bite the bullet and pay 3K more for the Rhino Kappie , that have these strips already ?

    See post 120 above.

    Cant remember what the price differences were, but my RLD was definitely more than R 3000 cheaper than alternatives.8)

    Is there anyone in Cape Town that has an RLD canopy I can come and take a look at?

    Trying to decide between Stanium and RLD, and would like to do some "door kicking" to make a final decision.

    Naand manne - jissie was dit nou interesant om almal se boodskappe te lees.

    Ek sit nou in dieselfde bootjie waarin Petrie was, ek soek nou kappie vir Amarok D/C.

    Daar is so baie op die mark en pryse vanaf die 1ste boodskap het alweer drasties verander soos ons SA en sy markte ken.

    Kortlys gemaak in geen spesifieke volg order:

    * RSI Evo = R34 000
    * RLD = R24 500 afgelewer in Kaap
    * RhinoCab Lite = R26900

    Ek is ongelukkig iemand wat ook wil sien hoe n ding op n voertuig lyk (fotos welkom) as net om opinies te lees.

    Sal dit wil gebruik vir dak tent op n later stadium en ook lekker inrig met kombuisie langs die kant ens.......ek is 'n 2 dag kamper! ;-)

    Ek wil nie so baie geld spandeer ek sukkel met rattle / krake / roes en enige $%@# nie......so gee my julle raad en opinies.

    Sal dit eerlikwaar opreg waardeer.

    Stay away from the RLD. Mine leaks like a sieve and has rust on it after a year. The after sales service seems to be about doing as little as possible to conceal the faults for long enough for you to get off the factory floor.

    I have eventually given up and just accept that when travelling through rain the bak will look like a swimming pool.

    Default Canopy : Rhinoman or RSI??

    I have the RhinoCab on my hilux and it is brilliant, bought a dust kit from Toyota and not a speck of dust inside, really impressed with the build quality .

    I have an RSI Evo on my Amarok and I love it. It's (IMO) the best looking canopy out there at the moment. And the fit and finish is fantastic. It is more expensive though, but you get what you pay for.

    I had an RLD on my previous Amarok, and (again IMO) it is not quite in the same league as the RSI. Mine didn't leak though, but the finish was a bit disappointing.

    There are cheaper RSIs available though, but the fit and finish should be of the same high standard as on the Evo.

    I don't have any experience of Rhinoman, but it is definitely also a good looking canopy.
