Hi All
I have a Chevrolet Trailblazer 2.5l 4x2 and wanted to ask for advice.
Do I need to trade-in and get the 2.8l 4x4 or will deflating my tyres be good enough for the sand roads in Kosi Bay and Ponto?
Thanks,
Al

A 4x2 with deflated tyres and some momentum can handle sand, but don't stop or go off the track. Try do sandy roads before the sand gets too hot and loose. Trailer definitely not advisable for 4x2 in sand. You need to be prepared to dig your way out of sand if you get stuck.
The downside is that 4x2 vehicles do quite a lot of damage to tracks because of the lack of low range and having only 2 wheels to crawl through.

In soft sand your clutch can burn out faster than a 1.6 Kuga
