    Default Tata India spares

    Hi guys and gals,

I wed some forum help. We are looking for a powersteering oil pump suction inlet for a 2005 Tata Indica. We are told there are none in RSA and it needs to be imported.
Where would we be able to find a second hand or aftermarket one?

You'll have to do a Google search and buy online.

Then how the hell are you gonna know what to find when you search for it?

Get a pic, ask the mechanic. Is it a pipe fitting or what?

Nice TATA dealership in Brackenfell. Call them, maybe they can assist.

Trying to remember ... they used Fiat or Nissan engines .... if you can confirm that, then maybe you can source the parts elsewhere ....

Could have sworn the guy said Indian. Although the Chana is basically a Suzuki.

But even in my cheapskate mind, they wete dirt cheap. Had to replace cam, cam pulley, cam belt and tensioner with tappet cover gasket and the seals on each end of the cam, Tie rods and rack ends....All came R1300 inc.
