    Default Maun accommodation

Afternoon - looking for one night's accommodation including breakfast within a reasonable distance (20kms) of Maun. Nothing fancy just good value. Any recommendations? Thanks

Stayed at Rileys last week for two nights. BWP 1015 per night. Two star - rooms and beds comfortable but a bit dark, breakfast was good, security for parking was ok. Close to Nandos and Debonairs - both good. Shoprite next door for supplies.

If camping is an option 18 kms before Maun on the Nata road is Drifters Camp.
    They also provide meals.
Stayed at Maun Lodge a couple of times, good value for money on week-end specials.

I would recommend Mokoro Lodge; as you enter Maun on the Maun/Francistown road.

    pros:
    1. Parking right in front of your room
    2. Friendly & efficient service
    3. Reasonable priced at less than 500 including breakfast &
    4. Relatively new so structures and furniture in good shape

    Cons:
    1. In the village so you have to contend with barking dogs etc.

    Cheers,

    Hans

Try Audi Cam in Maun and mention.you are South African, as we get a better price. Nice pub/ restaurant. Extremely reasonably priced accommodation. Basic but clean and quiet

It was far from quiet when we were there.

I totally agree with Hans, stayed at Mokoro a few times and really found it good value for money.

Mokoro Lodge fits your requirements as per your post. As does Queness Inn. In fact Queness is probably preferable, as it's in a quieter part of town. http://www.quenessinn.com/ If you are after something more touristy i.e. view of the river etc why not look at http://thekraallodgingbotswana.com
