Is it a Nylon tent? Haven't used any of the Coleman tent products, and it looks well designed (but without patio cover for entrance). I was once advised to go canvas. Needless to say, I got Nylon (for ease of use, size and weight), and had some great trips, but the day the heavens decided to open up, and the rain CAME DOWN, we were like drowned out rats. It was so bad that the kind folks who were set up in canvas tents came over with tea and rusks they felt so bad. I burnt the nylon tent and now own 2 canvas tents. I bought extra tea and rusks for my next camping trip - just incase

Same thoughts here. Polyester just don't hold up that well in serious hard rain.

But I don't like the size and weight of canvass.

So I settled for a tent that is somewhere in between. Made of ripstop.

Lighter than canvas and more durable when it comes to rain.

If it says coleman, and its within the scope of what I need, I'd buy it.
