Default I bought my first 4x4, Jeep TJ - Need advice from the wise

I am new to this forum and finally bought myself a 4x4! 2003 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 Auto 153 000kms. Extremely Excited.
Beore I go jetting off into the dune/ bush I have a few questions, many of which have been addressed previously but
seem to be slightly outdated. Apologies if im in the wrong section or if I should have posted in Newbie's first?

    1. When I buy any car, no mater how well looked after, I like to do a complete oil/fluid change. Engine, Diff, transmission, coolant,
power steering etc etc... Can someone recommend an Indie or even a good home mechanic in Cape Town who could assist me? I would like the person to have a good knowledge of Wranglers and give my car a complete once over. If there is anyone in the Southern Suberbs it woul dbe great!
    2. How to I go about meeting up with like minded individuals to go offroading with me? Nothing too hectic as I'm a beginner but I wouldn't
mind going with someone patient and willing to recover me if I get stuck!I was thinking Atlantic Dunes is a good start for me.

    Cheers all

    hello and welcome.

    1) Book the Jeep in at APS Stikland, and let Aldrin take a look at it. Bargain on it being there for a few days, but the job will be done well. plus he will only fix things that need fixing.

    2) Well you have come to the right place, many like minded people around here.

Also pictures or it didn't happen.

No its not my daily drive, it's a bit thirsty! Lucky enough to have a Golf 7 as well. It's a 2003 model 153000kms, one owner, not a mark or scratch anywhere inside or underneath. Brand spanking new BF Goodrich Tyres as well. Bought it from an awesome guy off gumtree for R85k.
Bought a recovery kit and compressor today which I'm excited to use.
Just need to find someone to join me on a chilled 4x4 day trip and teach me a thing or two.
