Plugs are supposedly good for 160 000 KMs, I do oil every 12000 and filters etc. at 24000. Supercharger belt at 168 000 or 7 years. Accessory belt apparently at 240 000??

    Will definitely feedback.

I need to replace my battery, is 658 the correct size? TWT at strijdompark say R2200, this seems like a decent price would you guys agree?

Default Re: V8 service schedule after 100k km?

    Good day all

I'd like some input from you guys on servicing my D4 V8.

I bought the vehicle from Land Rover Nelspruit about 2 years ago on 113 000km. Full service history from Land Rover Nelspruit and serviced on a 113k km when I bought it. I then started servicing it every 10k km at Land Tech Auto in Nelspruit. I also got the service record book stamped by Land Tech Auto. The vehicle is almost due for its 140k km service and was wondering where to do the service.

As the vehicle is still in mint condition I would like to keep is value as high as possible. This obviously includes the service history. My question is how does it affect the value of my car when I keep servicing it at an indie like Land Tech Auto? Would it be wise of me to do a very basic oil service at Land Rover Nelspruit just to get the 'authentic' Land Rover stamp in the book and do the rest of the work at a much beter price at an indie?

    Thanks in advance.

    Cheers
    Andre
