I can do... as if I didn't have enough other stuff to deal with...

    But...

Leave the platkarre out of it - the only reason we have them is to save fuel so they are pretty irrelevant.

Then can I suggest the following format

    Vehicle Model: (Marque, Model)
    ModelYear:
    Transmission: (Manual / Auto)
4x4 Type: (Part Time / Permanent)
    Fuel Type: (Diesel / Petrol)
    Aspiration: (Normal / Turbo)
    Engine Capacity: (in litres)
    Average Fuel Consumption (Highway):
    Average Fuel Consumption (Town):
    Average Fuel Consumption (Towing):
    Average Fuel Consumption (Offroad Only):

Then people can edit their original posts to conform to that exact format. I can then write a Perl script to just pull out the information and slap it into a database of sorts.

EDIT: Don't lie about your consumption either - you'll quickly be found out Ve haff veys and means ja?

May be another issue to standardize is either km/l or l/100km for fuel consumption. If I am not mistaken l/100km is the official metric measurement.

Everyone has thus far quoted km/l, so lets stick with that.

    Hennie, please refer my posts...

If you want to get any value out of these figures, please follow my format.

I will keep the database updated programmatically - I am NOT going through everyone's posts scanning for this stuff...
