    Default Trailblazer bull bar

I am in the process of designing a bull bar for the trailblazer. The concept is basically a 100mm x 3mm steel pipe running just below the front numberplate from side to side, slightly angled at certain points to follow the curve of the standard bumper.

Then a 76mm x 2mm steel tube (similar to the standard nudge bars) attached to the pipe.

The connection to the chassis involves 10mm thick steel brackets which bolt onto the chassis (not at the same points as the nudge bars).

This is a fairly thick piece of steel, thicker than the chassis I presume. The purpose is to protect critical components in case of a vlakvark or other small animal strike which happens frequently in my area.

Anyone have any idea what the effect would be on the proper functioning of the air bags?

I'd suggest talking to GM and contact someone in Aussie, they have all manner of stunning kit for the Holden Colarado''s
