Exclamation Oil leak between bell housing and engine

    Hai all

My TD5 has developed an oil leak on die bottom two bolts connecting the bell housing to the engine.

The LR has also started to shudder when pulling away.

Could the root cause be the crank oil seal?

And will I have to replace my clutch?

Thanks in advance for the feadback.

That's the crank end seal. Known issue on the TD5 if I recall.

And yes, oil on the clutch means a new clutch and pressure plate.

    Hi
Try to determine if it is engine oil or gearbox oil

Nope sorry. Ask LRExtreme what they will charge you. It's a sod of a job.
