Thanks for going to all the trouble Keith. Is that a custom built jobbie or can one buy it off the shelve?

Thanks Keith, I am liking the sound of Khutse very much. Not the quietest tent is it?

Hi kirkfort, no its not, that's one of its draw backs when travelling in company and you want to make an early morning exist. However the toere(ists) have become accustomed to it and my attempts at minimising early morning noise pollution. I suspect in reality with the TD5 starting up as well its a bit like living at the end of ORT's runway 03L/21R when a jumbo jet initiates a noise reduction take off

@Rik, that sounds like a great holiday coming up, Passarge2 and Piper 1 are my favorite camp sites, green with envy!

Apologies Francois, old age and way too many distractions, the joys of retirement. It's built by bundutec, they are based on the East Rand. Web site is http://www.bundutec.co.za/, tell them Keith sent you and that his commission cheque should be posted to ...

Peter at Landyworx did the paint job for me, they are aluminium so silver in colour which looks a bit out of place on Jaeger Defender.

And for those that have stuck with us on the trip, the final chapter.

Thanks again for the kind words, hopefully Vetgat Toere will be on the road again in the not too distant future. I can feel a trip back to Namibia coming on, any takers , but first there's plenty of Wes Kus on my doorstep to explore

Thanks Keith for sharing another of your enjoyable trip reports. Molose 2 seems to be a good spot for Brownies. A few years back I was camping on my own, quietly eating my supper in the dark, when I looked up from my plate and into the eyes of a brownie no further than a metre away from my feet!

Excellent Keith ... thank you. Interesting to note that the D4 did not suffer any tyre problems despite running 19"??
