Default Dueler D697 vs Dunlop AT2

Bridgestone Dueler D697 of Dunlop AT2?
    235/70/16

    Baie dankie

Consider Firestone Destination A/T. It is in the same price bracket, and I think it is a better tyre.

I'd pick the d697 1st. Firestone destination AT 2nd. The destination has the all road hazard guarantee TOO

Ek gebruik Nangkang FT 7 A/T. Dis n baie 'under rated' tyre en goeie waarde vir jou geld as jy n armgat soos ek is.

Ek dink regtig die Firestone sal 'n beter opsie wees of selfs Wranglers of Conti's.

GY Wrangler werk heel billik op my 2wd Isuzu bakkie.

Egter nie die beste 4x4 AT band nie.

    Statistiek is statistiek..

Dit was nie my band nie - 1.7 sover ek weet.

    Mmm, interessant.

    1.7 is nie sleg nie.
In my opinie is 'n band "sag" onder 1 bar.
Ek gaan maklik 1.3 bar toe op stadige grondpaaie.
Tussen 1.5 en 1.8 op vinniger grond.
    Maar 2.5 op teer.

Ek reken 'n algemene probleem is as 'n band 'n "slow puncture" kry.

Have had bad experiences with both the Bridgestone as well as the Dunlop. As mentioned above the nankang is good value for money. Maybe also have a look at the general grabber AT as well as yokohama GEO12 AT.

I've got Duelers on my softroader. Whilst I seem to be getting quite a good mileage on these tyres, I'm getting more punctures with these 697's than the Geolanders I previously had on. IMO, the downfall on the Dueler is the wide spaces between the tread - it looks cool, but it leaves the inner tyre very exposed. I don't think I would put them on again........rather a tyre with "tighter" tread.
