I believe that cannabis is now legal in most of USA and Europe.

    I think it's a good thing...

This could have some heavy implications for people who already have bumpers fitted and also the local manufacturers of bumpers...

    Anybody hear something similar?

I would like 4x4MW to explain how this would be relevant, should you be involved in a accident no insurer would repudiate a claim based on the bumper that is fitted.
There is absolutely no relevance between the item fitted and the incident taking place.
You should have asked him what would happen if you're vehicle is parked stationary for example in the street while you are in a shop and another vehicle collided with you're vehicle will the insurer still not pay out?
This sounds like a sales pitch to sell a ARB bumper.

Definitely sounds that way. My steel aftermarket bumpers are specified on my insurance, I'm sure they would not repudiate a claim due to an accessory they were happy to specify.
I will be visiting Kurt when I get the opportunity. Will ask him then about this.

There are plenty of companies that sell the 'Airbag compliant' or 'Airbag compatible" concepts, without really explaining what these mean. It would be great for someone involved to explain.
