Default How many of you do Overland / Camping trips with your Jeeps?

I found this pic today and it just looks fantastic.

I then thought in the USA they really do like these XJ's, WJ's, ZJ's because in RSA when you see a pic like this it's a Landrover or a Toyota.
Then I wondered how many people actually do this with their Jeeps?

The biggest reason for so few Wranglers doing overland stuff is because of the removal tops. As can be seen, you need a roofrack frame otherwise you're pretty much screwed.

Now if Jeep would bring out the Wrangler Rubi Hardtop...............

I use mine for camping trips. Did the River Trip beginning of August 2016 (thanks, Andrew, for posting the pic! )
and built a removable rack for the boot to carry the fridge on a slide and some crates. Because I don't have a roof rack
(and will not be getting one) camping does limit the Wrangler to a 2 person only vehicle, 'cause you need the space
of the back seat for packing. But any place I go where a trailer will not go/does not have ablutions, my wife will not go
to, so space is not an issue for me...
