    Default Coffee machine repairer?

Having some issues with my auto coffee machine, a Delonghi Magnifica ESAM3500. Showing an error message "GROUND TOO FINE ADJUST MILL! Insert water spout and press ok". From my research it seems the error message means that the pump needs to be primed? Waiting on an answer from Delonghi head office, but wanted to know if anybody knows of a reputable company that could look at it?

It's out of warranty, so I have to repair it myself.

    Would appreciate that guys! Thanks!

Just got an e-mail from Delonghi. Apparently the Delonghi approved repair centre is VR Electronics? Think they are in Lorraine? Never heard of them.

But I just want to make sure that I use a company I can trust.

Old, and good company. Been going for years. They used to repair all our monitors donkey years ago. (90's)

Mastertons don't do repairs, at least last time I tried they did not.

Yip, swiss gent in Mill Park (never used him but only heard good things), but there is also another gent in Newton Park, he managed to repair my espresso machine after others only cost me money and failed. (When you get a phone call to come look, and is shown on the oscilloscope why your coffee machine is popping elements then you realise it is the real deal!)

You can also speak to Jay at Sumatran, they are in Main Road Walmer now, he looks after our automatic machine at the office.

    OK. Good to know. Thx!

Think I'll pop in there next week when I'm in town.

Thinking that if they can fix the error message, I'll ask them to service it as well. Replace all of the seals, etc. While it's there.

Just have to find out what it would cost.

There seems to be more coffee machine repairerers :-) in PE than in Pta! Something to do with the politics?

Ended up dropping it off at VR Electronics. Super nice people. Really clued up regarding the Delonghi machines.

Transpired that the generator has expired. While the machine is there, I've also asked that they service the machine and replace any suspect seals and o-rings.

Can't wait to get my machine back. Slightly more expensive than I was hoping for, but worth it for me.

    Hi guys,

Would you perhaps mind sending me the details of those repairers via PM? I've had the machine into the official Delonghi repairer 3 times now, and they still can't figure it out.....I think it's time to try someone else.

    Thx!
