Default Botswana Trip Report: April / May /June 2016

    Hello members
My first trip report posting so please comment freely. Many thanks to all for the valuable information on this forum which helped us with our planning.

"We wanted to experience more of Botswana. We enjoy the unfenced, remote camp sites. We enjoy the deafening quietness. We are familiar with CKGR which we always enjoy not only for its loneliness and stillness but also its surprises and of course, lion – when you see them!. Last visit to this park was cut short when we had to return home for family reasons. CKGR will dish up surprises in one way or another – without fail..............."

Thanks for sharing. I like the slow pace of the trip. You really took your time and enjoyed your stay and that's my favourite part.

It just confirms that more time is essential for a good experience, unlike many European visitor who want to do this trip in 3 weeks

Thanks Kalahari Safari - Yes we think like this too - we enjoy a "slow" trip and are fortunate that we have time to do it. We spent more time at Kori than we would have planned but then we would have missed the Gemsbok kill!!
