    Default What Rocksliders?

I'm looking to get some rocksliders for my Amarok. Would like to here from the members with experience of what to look for. Currently looking at Stofpad vs Seikel. Don't now of any other?

I have Seikel rock sliders, and they works brilliant.

If I were to buy another Amarok, rock sliders will be the first accessory I will fit.

I had non Seikel rock sliders on my previous Amarok and after they damaged the body work of my Amarok I removed them and fitted the Seikel sliders.

They give you a much better ramp over angle and they don't damage the body when you use them.

Seikel is also the only VW approved slider available.

This style, or the ONCA's specifically? It really would surprise me, as I did my homework beforehand, went and checked their manufacture, and found their design and strength to be the best available. They are heavy though. I've even hung up my rom on them... Not even a dent.

That exact style. Whenever the full weight of the vehicle was on them they moved slightly towards the body and then the support piece touched the body.

Ah... This I know, which is why I went they way I did. There are cheap knock-offs that aren't built to the correct spec. Even had these same pics in discussion with them. The real ONCA rocksliders are built incredibly strong. Total overkill.

    Default What Rocksliders?

Cheap knock-offs won't be ONCA and should not be sold as ONCA?

Well these were made by ONCA so it might be that the first batch had a problem because I bought the set from them...

What is the budget price of the ONCA. They look close to the Seikel.

Just saying that knock-offs of any kind should not not be sold or marketed as name brands.

Yes sure, but if you buy it direct from the manufacturer then it should not be a knock-off at all

    Hi Lewis.

My sliders retail for R7900 and bolt directly to the chassis, not to the body. They also have high lift jack points in them, and are wide enough to protect the vehicle from gravel rash on the rear fenders.

    Everything is a hammer.
