    Default Matroosberg (to Conical Peak)

I got some great information from folks on this thread
But I have a few more questions as I prepare to go up there next month; possibly in the snow.

Im not the biggest fan of heights and Im wondering if Im likely to be freaked out, or if its not that bad along the trail where one drives. Obviously at the peak I just wont go too near the edge.
I saw this picture, and it makes me kinda nervous looking at how close it gets to the edge in the bottom left.

Of course pics like that can be deceptive and if there is actually 6 feet between the track and the edge and the track itself is 18 feet wide, then it obviously isn't as much of an issue.

This pic doesn't make me nervous much

So is it kinda hectic for those of us who don't much like heights, or is it actually okay?

We are also busy organising gear etc for the people (2 Adults & 2 youngish kids), and there was some good advice in the other thread, but if you have any experience and guidance on what is good and bad to wear or good to take along that would be appreciated.

    Many thanks

Your wheels don't run along the edge there is always a fair gap.
