Default Where to put plugs/power points in a 90?

    Howzit guys,

After waiting for whats seems like forever, I am finally having a dual battery system installed in my 90.

Where did you all put the plugs you wanted?
I though of using the speaker boxes but then realized they are very close to the seats and may not be deep enough.

My 90 is a Td5 so it doesn't have the panel behind the front seats, any suggestions, or better yet pictures of where you guys have your power points.

    Thanks!

what do you intend doing with the points?
do you need them in front or in the rear?
    fridge?
back of the battery box is a good spot

Will be for a fridge and charging various electronics ranging from cameras to cell phones etc.

Was thinking about behind battery box but worried about water damage, have rebuilt my sliding windows with genuine seals and the water still pools up on the window then leaks into the car, which then sits behind the seats in that channel.

Would probably, make sense to have a plug near the back also.

I'm open to any and all suggestions, as this is my first time down this road!

Mine are fitted to the speaker boxes at the back - 1 Hella plug & 1 Brad Harrison plug on the lefthand side and 2 Hella plugs to the righthand side. It is always good to run a earth cable from the battery and not earth on the body.

I use the Hella plugs for lights & converter, whilst the fridge is connected to the Brad Harrison plug.

Sounds similar to what I would like to do, can you post a few pictures when you have a minute?

Unfortunately my D90 is not at my home - it is in storage at another place. I will be able to take pictures over the weekend if you can wait?

If you remove the right rear speaker, you will find a purple accessory wire already in place, this is also already fused in electric fuse box box under driver seat. Easy to put hella or regular lighter sockets above speaker plastic housing.

Miks, photos as promised. Two Hella plugs and Brad Harrison plug on the left side and one Hella plug on the right hand side (not as stated before).

Thanks for the pictures, that's exactly where I would like to put them as I believe they will be out of the way there

Do you have the folding seats in the back still? If so, does the plug have enough space to go in/out without hitting the seat base

No folding seats in the back. If I remember correctly there was enough space when the seats were still fitted. Have a look with your seats folded down what space is left.
