Default Brakpan SPCA seeks assistance after robbery

    http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/Ne...bbery-20160506

I say again, if this forum can help people who should have been able to take of themselves, then the forum can certainly help the SPCA who takes care of those who can't care for themselves...

So, anyone in the area, this is your chance to help and make a difference!

It certainly does not help any cause to open the door with a statement like that.

Someone has to say it Dirk, if you don't like it, you have the uber-power to remove it

Thanks Deon, can you maybe co-ordinate those in the area...I'm far away, and along with Celesti help the Centurion / Midrand SPCA's already..

I'm down and out myself (been in bed the whole wek) but will contact them and make a donation directly.
Will post banking details when I have them.

@ Dirk: As one of those who should have been able to take of themselves and was helped by this forum I find nothing wrong with the opening statement. Actually good to know there are still honest, straight forward people out there

I am all for helping people or animals if they need it, but starting any thread / conversation on such an attacking/ negative note is detrimental to the cause.

I have a personal situation where my own sister and her husband are without work and they have a broken car, which they have no way of knowing how to fix because it's old, no parts available and no money even if they could find it.

They are living in someone's backyard because they can't do better right now they barely have food to eat.

I DO help them and as much as I can and still if anyone asks I try help them as well.

And you don't see me starting with such a statement because nobody has something on the job finder thread for them.
