Default Suzuki Jimny suspension not level

    Hi

Can anybody give me some advice on how to level my Jimny's aftermarket suspension?

A spacer was installed but did not fix the issue..
The car also feels very unstable on rough roads now, as if the spacer is compressing the coil more than the rest of the coils causing instability.

    Any advice is appreciated.

Which way is the car uneven? Front/back/left/right.

Sometimes the springs are put in on the wrong side of the vehicle which causes the unevenness

The right side is lower than the left, not by much, but enough for it to be obvious and compounded when a driver is in the car.

Might be the coils are the wrong way around?

My guess would be that the front rhs and lhs springs should be swapped. In many of the after market spring kits the drivers side spring is a bit longer to compensate for the weight of the driver.

@ Rivar: I don't know if I am allowed to state the brand, but if you know your brands the shocks are white and the coils are blue lol.

Thanks Marius I will have that checked out asap.
The story they spun me was that the coils for the Suzuki's sometimes come out of the factory with different lengths. If that is to compensate for drivers weight, surely either the accredited installers or the salesperson/rep should point this out after I complained.

The coils should be marked as well.

Can't see why you are not allowed to state brand. But sounds like ProFender from LAS. I could be wrong though...

I have jimnybits coils with avo shocks. The rear coils are the same length and result in the rear right sitting lower. Even changing springs from left to right resulted in the right sitting lower. Fitted a spacer and it's sorted now. Fronts were different lengths with the longer being on the right.

I spoke to him, He sent the spacer. Met him again at a Bridgestone event, showed no interest in resolving this issue, hence this thread.

Wel that would be bad for them. The forum has quite a impact for future business for them.

Kobus has however always seemed to be helpful and willing as far as I have seen. Maybe you got him on a bad day.

I have efs in and have no such issues that I'm aware off. Been happy with it from day one and there's no weird feelings except for my panhardrod but I still need a lifting bracket for that.

How much did you lift? Might also be your problem

Can you please post photos of the height difference.

Did you replace the shocks as well?

What amount was the vehicle lifted by?

If the vehicle was lifted did you install correction bushes?

Right rear ground to top of wheel arch 79.7cm
Left rear ground to top of wheel arch 81.5cm

This is without a driver in the car.

Couldn't it also be the correction bushes?....then again, your problem is at the back....maybe the coils I guess. Count how many turns on the rear coils.
