    Happy Days are Here.........NOT again

This Pinzie stutters again. So much this time it's hardly driveable. Its at Gys the Mechhie, Gys tells me THREE plugs are dead.

    Nee O DONNER.

I think I should do the electronic ignition thing, and with that eliminate all plug/spark issues, once and for all.

Gys will do compression test (again), but that cant be it.........it cant be missing on one piston and suddenly on three due to compression.

I need someone to read the 50 odd pages I have printed out, on this Thread and on Goatwerk's Website.

I even highlighted the important bits.

Just read it and check if what you read is correct.

    Thats ALL that I want.

Petri, I suggest you fit that electronic ignition. Then add a throttle body and have it set properly. Then you can take the carbs and stash them.

Whatever it takes, Henri. Really gatvol this side. But WILL sort it out.

I read they talk about a "Civilian" conversion with EI and normal plugs and all that, and everyone seems happy with it

I just need someone to eliminate all possible faults mentioned in here......step by step. That's all.

The Pinz goes as good as it ever had now. Gys also put in "ordinary" spark plugs, and they're also cooler - whatever that means.

The slight stuttering it still has under load, I can only come to the conclusion that it's a valve stem seal or something.

Although the compression test showed fine.

I'm actually on the very brink of selling this to someone who has the knowledge/workshop/patience to sort this niggle out, maar ja.......kom ons kyk maar nog verder. This is SUCH a nice and unique vehicle to have.
