    Default Tunland 4x4

Please help? If you select 4x4 is it in immediately or do you have to drive forward or reverse for it to kick in.
Not so sure about the correct procedure?
    Thanks

    Hi vheerddp.

Not immediately. Be patient, wait for a few seconds, not more than five most of the time, and the 4H light will switch on, you push 4L if necessary and wait again. If you are in a hurry you may drive crazy the system. So I prefer to stop before using 4H-4L (following an informal advice from Foton here). You do not need to drive forward or reverse.

Two or three times it definitely didnít engage, I turned off the bakkie and when I turned on it was engaged. It seems due to turning off the engine with 4L engaged an engineer from Foton said to me, so I always return to 2H before turning off. Driving forward or reverse didnít work those times.

Please keep me informed of the result.

On my Tunland 4x4, when engaging to L4, stop the vehicle and depress the clutch. Keep the clutch depressed for 5 seconds while selecting L4.
    Works every time.
Same when you move from L4 to H4/H2.

    Kind regards
    Wenzel
